The Senate Environment and Public Works Chairwoman Barbara Boxer said today that she would delay until September the markup of the American Clean Energy and Security Act of 2009.  The bill was recently passed by the House of Representatives and now moves to the Senate for a vote.

With the focus for most Senators currently on health care reform legislation, the vote on the Houses’ energy bill will likely be delayed through the August recess up to the new deadline September 28th, 2009.
