Chad E. Gottesman President and CEO
Mr. Gottesman is the President and CEO of Neuwing Energy Ventures. He is responsible for the overall operations of the company including all financial, legal, and administrative matters, setting strategic direction, and managing business development and marketing. Mr. Gottesman possesses a strong knowledge of the energy efficiency and sustainable energy regulatory environments and the associated capital markets based on his previous work experiences. While serving as Managing Director of The McLane Group, a specialty consulting firm serving the private equity and hedge fund communities, Mr. Gottesman saw an undeniable trend toward the new energy efficient, low carbon economy. As his passion to serve that market grew he became the founder and CEO of Green Era Capital which acquired the assets of Neuwing in spring 2009.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Gottesman built a strong foundation of business acumen as Chief Marketing Officer and Head of the Metro New York and Eastern regions of The Extraprise Group, a boutique management consulting firm in Boston, MA. Prior to Extraprise, Mr. Gottesman was Director of Sales Effectiveness at GE Capital Corporate in Stamford, Ct. While at GE Capital he was nominated, selected, and completed a two-year global executive development program while he led the creation, development, and operation of GE's first Center of Excellence for sales and marketing. In that role, Mr. Gottesman worked extensively with the sales, technology, business, and six sigma quality leaders throughout GE Capital and several other GE business across the world. Prior to GE Capital, Mr. Gottesman held various project management positions at Accenture while working on global sales and marketing technology and business process engagements.
Mr. Gottesman has an MBA from Columbia University's Graduate School of Business and a BS in Business Administration from the University at Albany.
Joshua Maltby Chief Operating Officer
Mr. Maltby is responsible for the overall operations of Neuwing's energy consulting and renewable energy development practices. This includes sales, marketing, and delivery of incentives and grant management programs, energy efficiency certificate creation, energy audits, demand response management, and utility-scale solar development projects.
Mr. Maltby previously served as Director of Operations and Chief Security Officer at The Extraprise Group, a boutique management consulting firm based in Boston, MA serving Fortune 500 clients. In addition, he has extensive experience as a technology consultant at Andersen Consulting (now Accenture), consulting and managing projects in the company's Customer Relationship Management service division.
Mr. Maltby has an MBA from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania, and he holds a BS in Finance and Management Information Systems from the University of Maryland at College Park.
Gary B. Landsberg Vice President of Engineering Services
Mr. Landsberg is Vice President of Engineering Services for Neuwing and is responsible for engineering services. This includes delivery of incentives and grant management programs, Energy Efficiency Certificate (EEC's) creation, and Measurement and Verification programs.
As Vice President of Engineering Services Mr. Landsberg, has leveraged the "best of breed" standards from Voluntary Carbon Standard 2007.1, ISO 14064 & 14001, California Energy Efficiency Evaluation Protocols, and Efficiency Valuation Organization IPMVP to create a world class energy efficiency measurement and verification methodology. This methodology is currently under review by Markit and will serve as the cornerstone for the registration of Energy Efficiency Certificates on a tradable market. Additionally, Mr. Landsberg has established an automated system for evaluating sites for energy intensive industries that includes energy prices, environmental GHG footprint, access to renewable energy, energy efficiency incentives, and environmental hazard risk assessment.
Mr. Landsberg previously served as a Program Manager and Principal Systems Engineer at AAI Textron Systems in Hunt Valley Maryland. As a Program Manager at AAI, he led a multi-million dollar R&D program focused on developing a new aircraft technology for Unmanned Aircraft. Prior to that Mr. Landsberg was the Chief Engineer of the Ground Support Equipment Group of the Unmanned Aircraft Systems division of AAI Corporation. In this role, he directed team of engineers in the development and field support of all launchers, recovery systems, ground support equipment, and Ground Control Station (GCS) programs. Mr. Landsberg fundamentally changed the Unmanned System design methodology by integrating design and cost simulation models for major system components into a system level Multi-dimensional design optimization simulation environment. Additionally, Mr. Landsberg led multiple Systems Engineering architecture efforts to configure systems that met deployment, performance, cost, manpower, and sustainability requirements.
Mr. Landsberg has an MBA from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania, and he holds a Masters Degree in Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He graduated magna cum laude with a BS in Engineering from the University of South Alabama, is a Tau Beta Pi Stark Fellow, and a Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of Maryland.
