Our employees are at the top of their respective fields including environmental law, engineering, and environmental commodities trading.  We are often guest speakers at prestigious industry events such as the World Economic Forum, Fortune Brainstorm: Green, The Advanced Energy Research and Technology Center (AERTC) Conference, the National Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners (NARUC) Annual Meeting, and various other environmental and finance leadership venues.  All of our knowledge of the markets and industry contacts are available to our clients on an ongoing basis.

Management Team:

Chad E. Gottesman
Mr. Gottesman is the President and CEO of Neuwing and responsible for setting corporate strategy and overall operations of the firm including business development, finance, and delivery of services.  Mr. Gottesman is a seasoned entrepreneur in the energy and consulting industries.  He was the founder and president of McLane Energy Services and held several executive management and operational positions that helped drive the growth of The Extraprise Group, a boutique management consulting firm.

Mr. Gottesman obtained his six sigma black belt at GE Capital where he led the development and operation of a global Center of Excellence for sales and marketing.  In that role, Mr. Gottesman worked extensively with the sales, technology, and business leaders throughout GE Capital and several other businesses across the world.  Prior to GE Capital, he held various team leadership positions at Accenture while working on global sales and marketing technology and business process engagements.

Mr. Gottesman has an MBA from Columbia University’s Graduate School of Business and a BS in Business Administration from the University at Albany.

Joshua Maltby
Mr. Maltby is Chief Operating Officer for Neuwing and responsible for the operations of Neuwing’s energy consulting practice. This includes sales, marketing, and delivery of incentives and grant management programs, energy efficiency certificate creation, energy audits, demand response management, and energy procurement.

Mr. Maltby previously served as Director of Operations and Chief Security Officer at The Extraprise Group, a boutique management consulting firm. In addition, he was formerly a consultant at Andersen Consulting, consulting and managing projects in the company’s Customer Relationship Management service division.

Mr. Maltby is currently pursuing an executive MBA at the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania, and he holds BS in Finance and Management Information Systems from the University of Maryland at College Park.

Gregory Lieb

Mr. Lieb is Vice President of Development and is responsible for providing analysis of the economic feasibility of alternative energy projects and proposes new solutions to financing such projects. His experience in energy comes from involvement in large scale wind projects in Germany and solar projects in the US as well as exposure to participants in the energy industry at Stanford.

Mr Lieb spent his career in fixed income structured solutions most recently with Dresdner as a managing director co-heading Credit Derivatives responsible for the structuring and trading of on and off balance sheet derivatives as well as market driven structures. From 1992 to 2001 Mr Lieb worked in London for Paribas Capital Markets and AIG International, focusing on Interest Rate derivatives trading with additional responsibilities for the development of Interest Rate models and systems. Prior to this, Mr Lieb worked at Bear Stearns in NY from 1989 to 1992 responsible for optimizing portfolio selection and the tranching of Asset Backed Securities.

Mr Lieb holds a PhD in Mathematics from Cornell University, New York.

Joshua Stein
Mr. Stein is Vice President of Finance for Neuwing.  Prior to joining Neuwing, Mr. Stein founded SteinCapitalAdvisors, LLC, a Chicago-based business advisory and capital formation firm specializing in new business formation, mergers & acquisitions, business valuation, income tax strategy and management consulting services. In his Managing Director role, Mr. Stein led engagements to develop business plans and related financial projection models, acquisition structuring and due diligence.  Mr. Stein has successfully completed over 75 business transactions including the private placement of debt and equity, asset purchases through bankruptcy, tax-free asset transfers, and reorganizations.

Mr. Stein was previously a Partner at a boutique M&A firm providing strategic management consulting services and tax planning to over 250 corporate clients.  In addition, he was formerly a manager at Unext.com, an online university delivering quality graduate business degree and certificate programs.  Mr. Stein was a staff accountant and consultant at Arthur Andersen, LLP providing support during financial services Audit engagements and consulting services in the firms the Derivatives and Treasury Risk Management Group.

Mr. Stein received his Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration from The Ohio State University and is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Illinois.
